We introduce thereader to the active topics of lineability and spaceability, which aim atidentifying large algebraic substructures contained in some given set, thus providingnew measures of largeness. It has been recently proved in that the set S ofbounded non-convergent real se-quences contains, except for zero, a dense vectorspace V with dimension continuum. During the talk, we partition S into threesets {S 1 ,S 2 ,S 3 } and show that each of them has the same property. Then,we study the same question for V closed (in place of dense). We conclude withseveral open questions.

Paolo Leonetti received his PhD in Statistics fromBocconi University (Milan, Italy), where he is also currently working as apostdoctoral researcher.
